Starting 7th on the grid we soon moved up to 2nd place untill the unibold broke off. Reparing it quickly we drove out of the pits to find ourselves in 27th position with 11 laps down. Not giving up we stopped the "drive carefull" strategy and started pushing really hard. Doing about 6 seconds a lap faster than the competition we moved up from 27th to 3rd in 8 hours . With 30 mintues to go and only 15 seconds behind number 2 the engine exploded or so it felt. But with a big number of laps in front of the car in 4th position we managed to keep 3rd in the Sportscar class.
