The weekend started off badly when 1 out of 6 boult of the wheel bearing broke off, and the rear right wheel blocked completly. Laurent was driving and stopt the car on track as there was no moving it what so ever. Because of that problem we missed 1st Qualifing but I went out in 2nd qualifing and did a 1.31.00 wich was good for a 3rd place. We where stunned by this outcome and we finaly found our oversteer problem.
With little time to repair the car ( everything on one day) we didn't get the chance to repair the rear wheel bearing problem 100% and started the race with some doubt's about this problem. The start off the race went fine and I could hold our 3rd place just fine but after 2 to 3 lap I got some air in the brake system and breaking became verry difficult indeed. For the first time we had soft enough tires from dunlop but I think we overdid it little and the front's where to soft for this extremly hot weather, this combined with the breaking problem made me back off from the SRT corvette and slow down the laptimes. I needed to pit because the tires couldn't stand the heat and had to be changed, after fuel and tires a went out once again but after 2 laps the wheelbearing broke again and our race was over.
